RELAX & RECOVER contains nutrients that help reduce fatigue and weariness and ensure normal well-being.
In addition to the classic minerals magnesium, zinc and iron, the preparation contains the following other ingredients: - L-tryptophan: an essential amino acid naturally present in milk.
Among other things, it is a component of the neurotransmitter (messenger) hydroxytryptophan (5-HT), which helps regulate the sleep-wake rhythm.
- Lactium® : a special peptide derived from milk protein, with a high L-tryptophan content.
It has been studied in 6 clinical studies related to stress management.
- L-theanine from green tea: green tea is traditionally associated with a calming effect.
Studies suggest that this is due not only to catechins, but also and above all to the L-theanine it contains.
- Saffron extract: worry and stress prevent sleep and raise cortisol levels.
Saffron extract also contains so-called secondary plant substances, such as crocin and safranal, which have had a positive effect [Crocus sativus L.] on sleep quality and mental health in studies (1-3).
- Ginseng: well-known in traditional Asian herbal medicine, contains polyphenols and antioxidants, notably ginsenosides.
