Maurten Drink Mix 160 is a drink based on hydrogel technology. Mixing it with water results in a sports drink with a high concentration of maltodextrin and fructose. As soon as the pH-sensitive drink comes into contact with stomach acid, it transforms into a hydrogel. The hydrogel enables the mixture to be transported smoothly and quickly to the intestine, where water, salt and carbohydrates are rapidly absorbed.
One packet of DRINK MIX 160 mixed with 500 ml of water contains 40 g of carbohydrates.
How to use
Mix the contents of one sachet with 500 ml of water and shake the bottle until the powder has completely dissolved. The mixing ratio must be strictly adhered to for the hydrogel to form correctly. The calcium content of the water should also be less than 40 mg/l. Higher calcium concentrations can impair the dissolution of the product. The Drink Mix can be consumed before, during and/or after exercise.
