HMB-Ca is a supplement formulated with beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate (HMB), a metabolite of the amino acid leucine.
HMB is a compound produced by the metabolism of the essential amino acid leucine. Leucine is one of the 3 amino acids that make up BCAAS or branched-chain amino acids. HMB supplementation can be effective in reducing muscle damage and protein degradation. As a result, it improves muscle tissue maintenance.
