What is special about Sanasis Krill Oil Capsules

Because of a special manufacturing process, Sanasis Krill Oil Capsules are very digestible and do not bump after taking - such as many fish oil capsules. The capsules have a longer shelf life and also do not become "rancid". In addition, the capsules in Sanasis krill oil from fish oil gelatin and not from bovine gelatin(!) are rich in natural EPA/DHA and astaxanthin.

Sanasis krill oil capsules contain a 100% krill oil from Antarctic krill in a highly pure and exceptionally high quality with the valuable omega-3 fatty acids (EPA/DHA), bound to a natural phospholipid complex. Each capsule contains the high dosage 500 mg pure krill oil with 200 mg phosholipids, 110 mg omega-3 fatty acids (87.5 mg EPA/DHA) and 50 µg pure, natural astaxanthin.

The capsules contain no chemical additives. Euphausia superba are small crustaceans that occur in huge swarms in the clear, clean and cold waters of Antarctica. They are rich in omega-3 fatty acids and phosholipids, which are important for us humans. The name "krill" comes from the Norwegian and means translated "whale food".

The special thing about krill oil is that the high-quality omega-3 fatty acids, unlike conventional fish oil, are not bound to triglycerides, but to phosholipids, which makes them particularly usable for the human body. Omega-3 fatty acids bound to phosholipids have a significantly higher bioavailability than omega-3 fatty acids triglycerides of conventional fish oil. The carotenoid astaxanthin contained in krill oil gives it its deep red color and protects the unsaturated fatty acids from oxidation as a natural antioxidant and preservative.

The interest of science in intensively researching omega-3 fatty acids was aroused by the fact that it could be observed that people live healthier on a diet rich in fish. In addition to numerous beneficial properties of EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), the main components of omega-3 fatty acids, counts that a daily intake of 250 mg EPA/DHA has been shown to contribute to normal heart function.
