Coenzyme +10 Capsules - high quality ubiquinone coenzyme Q10 from fermentation - 100% vegan
Our COENZYM Q10 capsules contain bioactive ubiquinone coenzyme Q10 and are optimally high-dosed with 200 mg per capsule. The Coen
zyme Q10 is involved in numerous processes in our body and plays a significant role in energy production in the cells.
We use a high-quality coenzyme Q10, which is obtained by fermentation (without genetic engineering). The coenzyme Q10 is here in the bioidentical, oxidized ubiquinone form and thus has the best possible stability.
The daily dose COENZYM Q10 consists of one capsule and provides 200 mg bioavailable coenzyme Q10. A can contains 120 capsules and thus serves, when taken daily, as a supply for a full 4 months. Coenzyme Q10 is obtained by fermentation and does not contain any ingredients of animal origin. We use a vegetable capsule shell and thus our COENZYM Q10 capsules are 100% vegan.
Coenzyme Q10 - Mode of action in the body
Coenzyme Q10 is a vitamin-like substance, which occurs in all our body cells - especially in the mitochondria, the 'power plants' of the cells. In the mitochondria, the adenosine triphosphate is formed from food (fat, carbohydrates, protein), which is needed as an energy carrier for numerous functions in the body.
In this metabolic process in the mitochondria, coenzyme Q10 plays a significant role. In 'energy carrier production', coenzyme Q10 ensures the transfer of electrons between two protein complexes. For this purpose, coenzyme Q10 switches back and forth between the two Q10 forms ubiquinone and ubiquinol several times per second.
Simplified: if the mitochondria lack coenzyme Q10, the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) comes to a standstill. For this reason, organs with a high energy requirement, such as the heart, brain, muscles, liver or kidneys, have a particularly high concentration of coenzyme Q10.
Body's own Q10 production vs. supply via food
Our body can produce coenzyme Q10 itself on the one hand and also absorb it via food on the other. In the body are usually stored between 500 mg to 2000 mg coenzyme Q10. The body's own coenzyme Q10 production decreases continuously from the age of 20 and thus leaves a deficit, which becomes larger and larger with the years.
Through the normal diet, this supply gap can only be compensated to a very limited extent, because for this the coenzyme Q10 content of the food is basically much too low. One would have to consume actually each day very much fish, meat, vegetables, leguminous plants and nuts, in order to supply in this way the body accordingly with Coenzym Q10:
To take up for example 30 mg Coenzym Q10, one would have to eat already 470 grams sardines or 900 grams beef. In practice, the intake of coenzyme Q10 in larger quantities is simply not possible.
Conzym Q10 capsules with high-dose ubiquinone Q10
While on the one hand the body's own coenzyme Q10 production continues to decline with age, on the other hand the daily requirement for coenzyme Q10 increases due to life situations and behaviors such as chronic stress, intense sports, smoking or an unbalanced diet.
This is exactly where our COENZYM Q10 capsules with bioavailable coenzyme Q10 come in. The capsules are optimally high-dosed with 200 mg coenzyme Q10 per day and ensure in this way the best possible supply of this important vital substance. Coenzyme Q10 exists in two different forms - the oxidized ubiquinone form and the reduced, unstable ubiquinol form.
In the mitochondria, coenzyme Q10 permanently changes from one form to the other. For us, it was therefore crucial which form is better suited as a dietary supplement. For this reason, we have deliberately chosen the ubiquinone, because here the coenzyme Q10 is oxidized and is therefore in a stable form.
