What is collagen?

Collagen or collagen is a complex protein (protein) that is found mainly in the connective tissue(including the subcutaneous tissue), in our tendons, ligaments, bones, joints, hair and teeth. Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body, accounting for over 30% of the total, and, generally speaking, takes care of shape and stability. The structure of collagen is a particularly resistant superhelix that provides strength in the connective tissues of the skin, skeletal bones, cartilage, and our tendons and ligaments.

It is particularly common to find the combination of the amino acids glycine, proline and hydroxyproline in collagen. This is exactly what is present in our drink.
