What does the Pancake Protein Mix powder from All Stars contain?
Actually, the Pancake powder contains everything that also makes a classic pancake - milk, egg and flour. However, the focus is clearly more on a good protein supply, little sugar, fat and thus calories.
Main ingredients and at the same time protein suppliers are whey protein concentrate and milk protein as milk and pure chicken egg protein in powder form as a fresh egg substitute. Whole spelt flour has been added as a flour variant, sweetened with sweeteners (maltitol, xylitol). Each 50g portion provides more than 25g of protein in a particularly tasty form, has significantly less than 2g of fat and sugar and, with just under 170 calories, also fits into many a dietary nutrition program. Combined with water (50-75ml), stirred in a suitable container and with the help of a whisk or hand mixer, a smooth batter is obtained. This should be cooked in a preferably coated pan with a little oil from both sides to a golden brown, delicious pancake. The topping can be fruit, peanut butter, fruit, chocolate or maple syrup or you can enjoy the pancakes plain.
Recommendation
Mix 50g of baking mix with 50 to 75ml of cold water and mix with a hand mixer or whisk until smooth. Heat a little oil in a non-stick frying pan. Then pour the batter into the pan. Pancake from both sides over medium heat well bake until this is golden brown.
The Pankcakes are ideal in the morning for breakfast, as a small but protein-rich snack, as a meal replacement and light main meal, as a 'dessert' with protein extra, to take along in the workday or around training suitable.
