Arginine is a semi-essential amino acid This means that it is essential for metabolism and can usually be produced by the body itself in sufficient quantities. They like to take arginine before and after training, because then the protein metabolism is running at full speed due to the build-up and conversion of muscle protein and the body needs amino acids such as arginine for this. Also for endurance athletes the arginine powder comes into question, because they usually have a high training workload, but tend to eat a diet rich in carbohydrates and low in protein. Still, they rely on an adequate supply of amino acids like arginine, which are found in protein-rich foods.
An additional intake of the amino acid arginine is also recommended especially during a competition or low carb diet, when the protein metabolism is also increased because of the protein-rich diet.

Recommendation for use
Add 4 g of the arginine powder to 200 ml of liquid. So you get 3.3 g of the amino acid in pure form. You can add the powder, for example, in water or in your protein shake, it dissolves easily. Take the drink with arginine best before training to you.
