RDX Aura Plus T-17 - boxing gloves for hard training
The RDX Aura Plus T-17 are built for striking sports such as Muay Thai, boxing, kickboxing, and training-focused MMA sessions. The design targets impact management, wrist support, and steady comfort when the pace goes up.
Build and protection
- Maya Hide Kalix Skin synthetic leather designed for solid wear resistance.
- Membrane Grid 3 (MG-3): layered padding structure to improve shock absorption.
- Cuff area with Max-Shock Equilibrium FOAM and Sponge X to help spread impact forces.
Fit, support, and comfort
- Satin fabric lining for a smoother feel and consistent breathability.
- Quick-EZ hook-and-loop closure for easy on/off and a secure wrist hold.
- Shaped for longer rounds with a stable feel without excessive stiffness.
Choosing the right weight (OZ)
- 10 oz: technique work, speed drills, pads, and shorter sessions.
- 12 oz: balanced option for regular all-round training.
- 14 oz: common choice for more comfortable sparring at hobby level.
- 16 oz: widely used for adult sparring and added padding buffer.
Use and care
- Air out after every session, away from direct heat sources.
- Wipe the exterior with a lightly damp cloth when needed.
- Hand wraps or inner gloves help with hand stability and moisture control.
FAQ
- Are these suitable for bag work?
Yes, they work well for heavy bag training and pad sessions, with padding designed for repeated impacts. - Can I use them for sparring?
Yes. Many athletes choose 14 oz or 16 oz depending on body size and gym guidelines. - Does the strap stay secure during hard rounds?
The Quick-EZ closure is designed for fast tightening and stable wrist support. - How do I keep the inside drier?
Let them air out after training and use wraps to reduce moisture build-up. - What OZ should I pick for mixed training?
For a versatile setup, 12 oz is often a practical starting point. For more comfort in exchanges, consider 14 oz or 16 oz.
