This category features gloves designed for young beginners starting boxing in a safe, structured environment. Models prioritise light padding, compact shape and simple closures for regular use.
The lightweight build helps children maintain proper hand position and learn basic movements more easily. Soft materials provide a pleasant feel during early drills.
Suitable for light bag work, simple combinations and technique games, these gloves help young boxers develop coordination without unnecessary strain.
Choosing the right boxing gloves depends on several factors, including the type of training, the athlete’s body weight, and their level of experience.
For technical training or bag work, lighter gloves may be preferred. For sparring, however, it is recommended to choose gloves with thicker padding to provide better protection for both the hands and the training partner.
The closure system, whether hook-and-loop or lace-up, also plays an important role in wrist support and overall comfort.
Boxing glove sizes are expressed in ounces (oz). For sparring, 14 oz or 16 oz gloves are generally recommended, while lighter gloves are suitable for bag work or technical training.
