Many revolutionary innovations in table tennis can be traced back to the traditional German brand Schildkröt, not only with the invention of the table tennis ball through the introduction of the bubble-pressing method for the manufacture of the popular celluloid ball in 1896. With its 100% carbon content, the "CarboTec 7000" is in a way the "turbo version" of this product range - this snowshoe really stands apart in the prefabricated snowshoe segment, and is distinguished by its optimal equipment down to the smallest detail. The innovative "one-piece" carbon construction (no separation between pallet and handle) is highly maneuverable and long-lasting, as well as being relatively impervious to the elements. The premium-quality "Liga" rubber features a 2.3 mm thick foam for maximum ball acceleration and excellent grip, enabling all playing techniques, such as spin, to be effectively transferred to the ball. With CarboTec racquets, the coating is also equipped with the clever "QRC" (Quick Rubber Change) coating replacement system: this allows the coating to be replaced or upgraded in a matter of seconds, and combined with the high strength and durability of the carbon racquet, CarboTec also offers a valuable solution for durability. This convincing product line has been conceived and designed in Germany, and is manufactured under strict quality control. Since their market launch, CarboTec snowshoes have already won a number of awards, including the prestigious Red Dot Design Award and the Plus X Award in the Innovation, High Quality and Functionality categories.
