The biggest advantage of the pulling aid with steel hook in weight training is, the absolute relief of the hand and wrists. Unlike pulling aids with tape, you do not have to laboriously tie a hook around the dumbbell or pull-up bar. A single handle is enough to secure it. This saves time and tedious straightening of the tape.
Since the hook of the pull-up aids hangs firmly on the bar, absolutely no gripping force has to be applied here. It hangs, so to speak, on your wrist, around which the cuff of the hook is attached.
This has, on the one hand, the advantage that the fitness athlete can concentrate 100 percent on the applicable muscle group, for example, the back when rowing.
The wrists are additionally very protected when training with heavy weights with our pulling aids, because the hook is attached to the wrist with a bandage. A strong Velcro closure simplifies the on and off the wrist bandage very much.
