The expression "low intensity" means that you don't go all the way through your exercises, but rather exercise a little more slowly and for longer. You develop less strength during this workout, but you improve your endurance and fat burning much more. With this durable, lightweight exercise bike, you can work out until you run out of energy. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy your cycling session.
The perfect indoor bike
The VirtuFit HTR 2.0 exercise bike will keep you stable and comfortable at all times. This sturdy, high-quality exercise bike can be loaded up to a weight of 150 kg. The saddle is wide and ergonomic, allowing you to adopt a good sitting position almost automatically. The saddle is adjustable both horizontally and vertically, and you can also adjust the angle of the handlebars. You can adjust the saddle and handlebars to suit your size. The hinge points are fitted with ball bearings that prevent movements from rattling and keep them smooth. The sturdy V-belt silently sets the 19 kg rotating mass in motion. While you pedal, you can use a bottle holder. Looking for distractions during exercise? Use an iPad, tablet or book in the display holder.
On screen
On the illuminated display, you can track the duration, speed, distance, number of revolutions, calorie consumption, power (up to 300 watts) and heart rate of your workout. The target heart rate program helps you get closer to your target heart rate. Your target heart rate is based on your age, which you set in advance along with the time, or choose other heart rate-controlled programs for more guidance. Heart rate-controlled programs automatically adjust resistance to keep your heart rate constant. This resistance consists of 24 different levels. This allows you to vary your exercises sufficiently without losing effectiveness.
Different possibilities and programs
The VirtuFit HTR 2.0 exercise bike features 24 different programs. In addition to heart rate programs, there are 14 pre-programmed workouts, 1 manual program, 1 power program, 1 body fat program and 4 user programs. The manual program is a free workout in which you can set and adjust the resistance yourself. In the 14 pre-programmed workouts, resistances are automatically adjusted during exercise to give you a stimulating and varied workout. The power program keeps your effort constant by increasing resistance when you slow down and decreasing it when you speed up. The body fat measurement program first asks for your age, sex, height and weight, then calculates your body fat percentage. To measure your heart rate, you need to hold the heart rate sensors and include it in the calculation. You create your own exercises using a user program.
After the exercise
Once you've finished exercising, you can easily move the VirtuFit exercise bike using the transport wheels.
The exercise bike is also equipped with adjustable feet for fine-tuning. Further information on feet, programs, target heart rate zones and configuration can be found in the manual. It is manufactured to ISO20957 standards and complies with EN957-5/Classe HB certification.
