No two workouts are the same with the Flow Fitness Glider DCT2000i elliptical. With no fewer than 24 programs, 16 resistance levels and convenient service with Smart Wheel and Quick Keys, this elliptical meets the needs of almost all home athletes. And what about the Bluetooth receiver, with which you can connect the fitness device to your favorite training applications? The possibilities are endless.
Natural position
The DCT2000i is finished in black/grey, giving the elliptical a modern look. Practical extras, such as non-slip pedals, transport wheels and a tablet holder, are of course also included with the DCT2000i.
In terms of position, this elliptical gives you plenty of options. You place your hands on the Multi-Grip grips with integrated heart rate sensors. These grips also have handy quick-release buttons with which you can adjust resistance, for example. The pedals can be adjusted in 3 positions, so that your legs perform the most natural movement possible during your workout.
Training options
The 24 programs on the Glider DCT2000i make this elliptical a fitness machine with infinite possibilities. The programs are classified as follows:
1 manual program
12 pre-programmed programs
4 user programs
3 heart rate-based programs
1 program based on target heart rate
1 power program
1 condition measurement
1 BMI analysis
With the manual program, you set the desired resistance yourself. This is divided into 16 levels, which can be set using the quick keys on the handles or the Smart Wheel on the display. Thanks to the 18 kg flywheel mass, you don't have to worry about your workout being too easy, as the intensity level is high.
Display
The illuminated LCD screen displays the most important performances during your workout, such as time, speed, rpm, distance, power in watts, calories and heart rate. Beneath this screen you'll find a striking round button, the so-called Smart Wheel. With this rotary knob, you can easily navigate to programs, resistors and different performance views. The computer also features a USB port, a tablet holder and a Bluetooth receiver. With the latter, you can connect a Bluetooth chest belt to the DCT2000i. This guarantees highly accurate heart rate measurement. The Bluetooth connection also lets you use your own training applications.
More options with applications
To add more options to your workout, you can choose to connect the elliptical to apps on your smartphone or tablet. For example, you can use the Iconsole and Kinomap applications. With these, you follow realistic itineraries from your screen and keep track of all your training details in an overview.
Follow with Kinomap
The Kinomap application gives you an extremely realistic live experience of existing and self-selected routes. Resistance automatically increases as you go up and decreases as you go down. There are training videos with different levels of difficulty. Try to keep up with the video's target speed, or use the multiplayer mode to organize competitions with your friends. On your screen, you can see how far into your video you are and how far you still have to go. You can also easily connect Kinomap to your favorite training applications, such as Strava and Runkeeper. This way, you can record all your training sessions in one overview.
To use Kinomap, version 5.0 is required for Android devices. Version 9.0 is required for iOS.
Please note: Kinomap can be used free of charge for the first 7 days, after which you can take out a paid subscription.
