HMB or Beta-hydroxy Beta-methylbutyrate is a metabolite of L-Leucine, an essential branched-chain amino acid found in BCAAs. HMB is produced naturally by the body, but only in small quantities. It helps increase muscle mass and prevent muscle breakdown. Taking HMB is ideal for all athletes wishing to optimize muscle building and recovery.

The benefits of HMB in combination with training are varied and comprehensive for athletes. Its assimilation helps develop muscles and thus contributes to building muscle strength. This action makes HMB the ideal supplement in combination with intensive training. As HMB is formed by the metabolism of the amino acid leucine, it also helps improve recovery.
